There are “deals” to be had. Just a Tread Lightly membership gets you 1% under invoice if you don’t like haggling. I was at 5% under invoice on a Rubicon before I switched course and got the 4Runner. I was at around $42k for a well equipped, manual transmission Rubicon with the dual tops.
